About Our Team

Our staff is family-oriented, friendly, and knowledgeable. Using their many years of experience, they will help you understand your test results, choose the proper correction for your vision needs, and best utilize your vision insurance. They devote their professionalism and care to helping you make important decisions about your eyewear.

Dr. Michael Dopkiss attended The Ohio State University for both his undergraduate education as well as his Doctor of Optometry degree. He founded Dr. Dopkiss & Associates, now called Dopkiss Eyecare, in 1992. He is an active member of his community and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Dr. (Dopkiss) Puhl received her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and then went on to earn her degree as a Doctor of Optometry from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. She values taking time to get to know her patients in order to provide the best individualized care possible. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, baking, and exploring the outdoors.

Dr. Megan Young is a dedicated optometrist who completed her undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University before earning her Doctor of Optometry Degree from The OSU College of Optometry. With a focus on preventative care and disease management, she is committed to enhancing her patients’ vision and overall eye health. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Young values spending quality time with family, especially enjoying moments with her children and discovering new adventures around Columbus and beyond.
